Volkswagen AG has approved KPIT’s classic AUTOSAR stack KSAR R4.2.1. This approval will enable global automotive Tier 1 suppliers, across VW group of companies to leverage KPIT’s scalable and efficient KSAR stack to develop ECUs (Electronic Control Unit) for VW programs.
The KPIT AUTOSAR stack is cleared for the Communication and Network Management stack for CAN. KPIT’s KSAR stack provides a robust approach for its customers to adapt the AUTOSAR standard across its products. As a highly optimized performance-oriented stack KSAR helps achieve required throughput for target ECUs based on CAN. The new configuration C4K tool used for the KSAR stack brings in rapid harmonization from the ECU extracts for communication stack and its “single-click” configuration solution further helps KPIT’s customers for faster integrations across ECU variants. C4K tool has a unique feature to support custom plugin development which can be developed and integrated for further automations along with the standard plugins that are supplied with the stack.
