KPIT Technologies is pleased to share that our Chairman and Co-founder, Dr. Ravi Pandit, has been elected as a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA). This recognition, effective January 2026, reflects Dr. Pandit’s enduring commitment to advancing science, sustainability, and technology for the greater good.
A Lifelong Commitment to Science and Societal Progress
Dr. Pandit’s professional journey has been guided by the conviction that science and technology should serve society. Under his leadership, KPIT has fostered a culture of innovation in clean mobility, including the indigenous development of hydrogen fuel cells and sodium-ion batteries. Notably, through his not-for-profit initiative HRIDAY (Hydrogen Revolution for India’s Development of Agriculture and Energy), Dr. Pandit has advanced the development of green hydrogen from biomass, building pathways for energy independence rooted in India’s strengths.
His vision extends beyond KPIT, as he has played a pivotal role in shaping industry ecosystems, collaborating with research institutes, and mentoring future talent through organizations such as MCCIA, ARAI, CII, and NASSCOM.
Dr. Pandit strongly believes that cultivating a scientific temperament enables people to excel. Driven by this passion, he was instrumental in conceptualizing and leading several initiatives such as Chhote Scientists, KPIT Sparkle, KPIT SHODH Awards, and KPIT STEM Dialogues, which have inspired countless young minds – from children to PhD students – to pursue excellence in science and technology.
His leadership during critical times- such as developing low-cost ventilators during the pandemic and supporting large-scale environmental projects, underscores his belief that innovation must be purposeful and inclusive.
Reflecting on this honor, Dr. Pandit shares: (Sample quote, Sir request your review/addition)
