Shashwat Mitra
Shashwat K. Mitra is the Global Head of Human Resources and has been with KPIT since 2022. He brings with himself close to 2 decades of experience. He holds degree in Mechanical Engineering (Gold Medalist and Hons) and studied Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and management program with Rutgers Business School, New Jersey. He is passionate to drive the mission of KPIT to being the Best Place To Grow.
He has led and driven teams across geographies for transformative work in the field of HR Strategy, Cultural Transformation, Leadership, Change Management, Talent Management, Compliances, Compensation Management, M&As and HR Analytics. Known for implementing transformational & contemporary HR practices of strategic importance to businesses across the globe. Built regional & global teams while leading teams from EMEA, USA and APAC. He has worked with organizations like Mahindra, Eaton & Cummins in the past.
He has 3 international papers published and a patent to his name. Named 40 under 40 in Human Resources in 2023. He has over half dozen certification ranging from coaching to design thinking to being a certified change champion to name a few. Has been on the panel of industry mentor & faculty for universities in India and abroad.
He stays in Pune with his wife Shillpa, his parents and couple of pets. In his free time, he loves to listen to music, read non-fiction and occasionally dabbling his hands on writing.
