The company had a unique requirement of migrating business from legacy system into JD Edwards 9.0 involving many complex interim interfaces and dual data maintenance. The other challenges faced were as follows:
Many complex processes were involved such as cylinder management, pricing and point of sale

The company leveraged the existing custom container management system which needed to be reviewed and customized for new requirements

Manage the end-to-end packaging process for customers, including artwork and label design, regulatory requirements support, call center activities, and distribution
Multiple business and regions share same JDE instance and change management was key for the project

Many process gaps, including complex interface designs and workflows, between legacy and JD Edwards 9.0 were identified and customized in JD Edwards
Minimal cutover window for data extraction, migration and validation was to be planned
